Planned Parenthood Thanks Baron Hill
From the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette comes the latest chapter in the ongoing saga of Baron Hill's big abortion lie.
Here are some excerpts from the letter by Indiana Planned Parenthood Director Jen Jorczak thanking Hill and other Indiana Democrats for their vote:
Congress recently rejected, by an overwhelming margin, an amendment to H.R. 3043 (the Labor, Health and Human Services and Education Appropriations bill) that was proposed by Rep. Mike Pence, R-Ind. Pence’s amendment, if passed, would have prohibited Title X money from being made available to a key provider of family planning services – Planned Parenthood.
On behalf of our organization and our patients, I would like to thank the members of Congress who had the courage and foresight to stand up in opposition to this mean-spirited amendment, especially Indiana’s own Reps. Julia Carson, Baron Hill and Peter Visclosky. Access to quality, affordable reproductive health care is essential to leading a healthy, productive life.
Way to vote for those Hoosier values you campaigned on, Baron.
Hat tip: Hill on the Hill.
