I'll See that Boycott and Raise You a Question
Jeff, over at Big Dawg Tales, thinks that the "Abortionists for Obama" logo is going too far.
And while I don't have a word of disagreement with him when it comes to the movie Tropic Thunder (yet another manifestation of how Hollywood has decided that outrageously offensive depictions and gutter "jokes" should play substitute to more amusing and less repulsive forms of comedy), and I don't intend to see it, I maintain my disagreement when it comes to Obama and abortion.
It's true that abortion should not be a left or a right issue. The Born Alive Infants Protection Act (which protects infants that survive a botched abortion) is one example where it is not one.
Such noteworthy personages of the left as Barbara Boxer, Ted Kennedy, and Hillary Clinton joined individuals on the right in being in favor of that legislation.
Barack Obama, however, opposed it when it came before him in the Illinois State Senate; he has since went so far as to say that he did not want his daughters "punished with a baby."
So, seeing that if abortion shouldn't be an issue of the left or the right, how does being opposed to outlawing the murder of infant abortion survivors fit into things?
